Ingredients
1 (225g) cup butter
340 g chocolate chips
2 (500 ml) cups flour
1 (250 ml) cup brown sugar
1 tsp. (5 ml) Bicarbonate of soda
1/2 tsp. (2.5 ml) salt
1 (250 ml) cup sugar
250 g Grated Cadbury chocolate
2 1/2 (625 ml) cups blended oatmeal
2 eggs
1 tsp. (5 ml) baking powder
1 tsp. (5 ml) vanilla
1 1/2 cups (180 ml) chopped nuts (optional)
Method
Measure oatmeal, and blend in a blender to a fine powder.
Cream the butter and both sugars.
Add eggs and vanilla, mix together with flour, oatmeal,
salt, baking powder, and bicarbonate of soda.
Add chocolate chips, grated chocolate and nuts. Roll into balls, and place two inches apart on a
cookie sheet. Flatten with a fork. If you want a consistent size cut flattened biscuit with a scone cutter.
Bake for 10 minutes at 180 C.
The above quantities make 55 cookies. Enjoy!
