75g melted butter
½ tsp. (2 ½ ml) baking powder
Beat the egg and sugar, until thick. Add the flour and baking powder, and finally the melted butter. Bake at 180C. When nearly cooked, after about 20-25 minutes, cover the cake with the hot glaze and bake for approximately another 10 minutes until light brown. (Total baking time, about 30-35 mins).
¾ Tbs. flour
2 Tbs. milk
Chop the almonds and mix all the glaze ingredients and mix/heat on a low heat and let it thicken. Spoon over top of cake 10 minutes before the cake is finished baking.
Serve with coffee, or as a dessert cake.
