1/2 cup cocoa
1/8 tsp salt
100 ml (3/4 cup) golden syrup
75 g sugar (1/2 cup)
1/2 cup (125 ml) water
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
Method:
In a small pot combine all ingredients except vanilla in the order given. Place over medium heat and bring to boiling point, stirring constantly. Lower heat and boil for 3 minutes. Remove from the heat. Add vanilla. Cool then store in fridge to use with ice-cream.
